Cinnober's CEO Veronica Augustsson is, according to Veckans Affärer, Sweden's eighth most powerful female CEO of a listed company in the Swedish business community.
"Eleven years after she graduated from KTH with a Computer Science degree, she became a CEO. She leads a software co mpany that has a world leading position in financial IT systems and security requirements that are comparable to those of a nuclear power plant," Veckans Affärer wrote of Veronica Augustsson in connection with the announcement.
"Gender equality is something that is needed not only in business, but also in the technology industry, and if I can influence it in the right direction, it is of course important as well as great fun. For Cinnober, diversity is a clear ambition that gives us a great advantage as a company and for our customers. Diversity, whether it be gender, ethnicity, or age, gives better results and increased innovation," says Veronica Augustsson.
Through the annual ranking of industry’s powerful women published in conjunction with International Women's Day, Veckans Affärer highlights successful women in various categories, including owners, professional boardmembers, directors, opinion leaders, and CEOs of listed companies.
