Cinnober one of 2014’s top Swedish career companies

In a recent announcement, Cinnober Financial Technology was named as one of the top companies on the list of Sweden’s 100 most attractive career companies for 2014. The list is published annually by Sweden’s leading business newspaper, Dagens Industri, in its ‘Your career’ section, in cooperation with Jobtip.

More specifically, the list ranks the 100 most exciting companies in Sweden in which to pursue a career. These 100 companies, chosen from 300 nominated and evaluated, were selected as the country’s best employers for young professionals because of their interest in their employer branding, for having genuine employee commitment and unique career opportunities.

We are therefore grateful for this award and acknowledgement,” says Cinnober’s Head of Human Resource, Christina Jacobsson. “When it comes to technology students and young professionals, we are continually working to ‘find, grow and keep them’ as we, as a growing company, have a need for new talents and obtaining maximum value from the talents we have onboard. We think our combination of advanced technology, finance and an international customer base provides an innovative environment with a wide variety of opportunities.”

The reason cited for selecting Cinnober:

One example of Cinnober’s offensive investment initiatives to reel in young technology-talented people is its trainee program within financial IT, which began in 2013. Early in the fall, the first cohort consisting of three trainees began the one-year program at the company’s Umeå office. Initial interest in the program has been very great and in February another group of trainees will begin. Cinnober also began taking steps in 2013 towards building a financial IT cluster in Umeå.
