Cinnober has made the rankings of the 2015 Fintech 100. The listing also further designates Cinnober as one of the most intriguing 50 “emerging stars” — described as “exciting new fintechs with bold, disruptive and potentially game-changing ideas”.
The Fintech 100 is based on the “Leading Global Fintech Innovators Report 2015”, a collaboration between H2 Ventures and KPMG, with the purpose of analyzing the fintech space globally. The companies they selected, drawn from 19 countries, were chosen on the basis of using technology to their best advantage and driving disruption within the financial services industry. Those on the list are described as “having a commitment to excellence, superior customer experience and a demonstrated ability to do one thing in a market better than everyone else”.
“We are proud that we achieved recognition in this business context”, says Cinnober’s CEO Veronica Augustsson. “Innovation is a highly prioritized part of our contribution to the financial industry. Awards like this are a welcome acknowledgement of Cinnober’s substantial long-range investments in future-oriented technology development.”
Cinnober is an independent, world-leading supplier of financial technology to marketplaces and clearinghouses. The client list consists of major global players with extreme demands for reliability and performance, including the Australian Securities Exchange, BM&FBOVESPA, Dubai Gold & Commodities Exchange, Euronext, Johannesburg Stock Exchange, London Metal Exchange, LME Clear and Stock Exchange of Thailand.
Recently Cinnober was also awarded the prestigious “Post-Trade Initiative of the year” at the Financial News Trading & Technology Awards, for its TRADExpress RealTime Clearing technology.
