Cinnober has signed a five-year service agreement for the hosting and operation of one of its delivered customer systems. The agreement covers a fully redundant and scalable solution.
The new agreement concerns hosting and operations of one of Cinnober’s delivered customer systems with services offered to the OTC market. It covers a scalable and resilient solution in which the software will be operated on dual sites with hot standby servers separated geographically from the primary servers, with a redundant network solution.
The hosting agreement is closely related to an application support and maintenance contract, together forming a full-service solution for the customer. The undertaking includes system operations and performance monitoring, trend analysis, capacity planning and application support and maintenance.
Cinnober has gradually—based on growing customer demand—extended its service organization, moving from pure application support and maintenance to an offering also including system operations and hosting. By this Cinnober now offers customers who wish to outsource these functions services performed by specialists in managing mission critical transaction systems and with in-depth understanding of the customer’s technical solution.
“We have put a lot of effort into building a full-service support and operation organization within Cinnober, managed by experts in marketplace solutions. We see this agreement as a great acknowledgement of these services”, commented Nils-Robert Persson Executive Chairman of Cinnober on the new deal.
Cinnober also hosts and operates its delivered installations for Burgundy, Markit BOAT and Turquoise.
