In my previous job, we did everything with pre-defined processes, forms and endless meetings,” says Johan. “Five years of that was enough. One thing I like about Cinnober is not having all that bureaucracy. Everything is flexible here.”
Johan currently sits in a group providing application support, with system architects who have a wide view of the system. “This means we get a lot of interesting questions,” he remarks. “And it seems I have a way of explaining things that people like, so salespeople often ask me to go with them on pre-sales meetings.”
Training users to form a common view of the product is important to Johan. “The beauty of our architecture is that we can install the trading system and start standard training already on day one,” he says. “Then we can be flexible on modifications as the project moves on, and deliver new training around that.”
